Established in 1870 by Jonathan Lawrence, we have continued to serve Southampton and all surrounding areas for over 150 years. We are proud to be one of the oldest and still independently owned family businesses in Southampton.
John and Chris Lawrence (4th Generation) have been involved in the business since leaving school, combining over 70 years of experience between them. Having run the business since 1998. Over the years, they have proven to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the families they have served.
As our family before us we take great pride in trying to do the very best for families we serve in Southampton and all surrounding areas, and helping them through step by step what is a very difficult time.
We are based at 17 St Denys Road in Portswood, where we have been serving the community for over 120 years. Southampton has changed a lot over the years but one thing hasn’t is our commitment to providing the highest level of personal service and compassion for all. Whether you are looking for a simple service or a traditional more bespoke service we are here to help you and your family every step of the way.
