Your safety and wellbeing and the safety and well being of our staff is of the greatest importance.
We understand that making funeral arrangements for a loved is important and usually involves a number of family members. At this time we respectfully ask that a maximum of two family members attend our office at the time of the arrangements and any subsequent visits. Please note that when arrangements are made at our office these only need to be preliminary. To ensure that all family members are involved with the important decisions we will be happy to provide a list of all the arrangements that will need to be confirmed so they can be discussed and decided on by all the family.
If you are unable to visit our office due to health implications or due to recommended self isolation. We will be able to discuss arrangements over the telephone, video calling eg. ‘Facetime’, or email. Any required documentation can be completed over the telephone and hand delivered for signing and collected at a time suitable to you. Documentation can also be sent electronically by email or by post.
The guidelines on safe numbers able to attend funeral services at Crematoria and Cemeteries is changing almost daily at this time. Funeral services in Church are being strongly discouraged or not permitted at all. If you are planning to attend a funeral service of a family member or friend please do not hesitate to contact our office for updates on permitted numbers.
Southampton Crematorium, Wessex Vale Crematorium and Test Valley Crematorium have the facilities to provide a ‘Webcast’, visual or an audio recording of a service. This allows those who are unable to attend the chance to pay their respects and feel part of the service.
Currently all burial services that are held at the local Cemeteries: Hollybrook, South Stoneham, and St. Mary Extra must all take place at the graveside as the Cemetery Chapels are not in use. We will happily provide facilities to playchosen music to make the service as personal and meaningful as possible.
