Our Cremation Services
J Lawrence & Sons have been offering cremation services in Southampton and the surrounding areas for over a century. If this is the option you choose for your loved one’s funeral, then there are three crematoriums in Southampton that we work with.
You can choose between the Southampton Crematorium on Bassett Green Road, the Wessex Vale Crematorium in West End or the Test Valley Crematorium in Romsey. The main cemeteries in the area are all owned by the Council.
These are Hollybrook, South Stoneham, St. Mary Extra, Millbrook, and Southampton Old. There are other cemeteries in the surrounding boroughs, so get in touch with us if you would like to find out more about these locations.
Cremated remains can be scattered in the crematorium garden of rest or a family grave if there is one. If available, they can also be placed in a churchyard. Alternatively, you may wish to keep them at home or scatter them at the deceased’s favourite location.
