If no preparations have been made, our funeral directors in Eastleigh will guide you through the process of getting everything in place. You can select a venue of your choice, either a church or chapel, and opt for either a religious or non-religious service. It’s a good idea to choose options that accurately reflect your loved one’s beliefs, as this ensures they get the proper send-off they deserve. Other aspects which we will discuss with you include:
- Burial or Cremation
- Music Requirements
- Vehicle Requirements
- Options for Cremated Remains (if applicable)
- Flowers and Donations
If you require obituary notices to be created and published, you can leave this to our funeral directors. Eastleigh residents, we’ll also discuss with you the option for viewing the deceased in our Chapel of Rest. This is optional but gives those in attendance a way to say their own goodbyes. And if you opt for a burial, we’ll also need to discuss where your loved one shall be interred as well as the choice of an appropriate coffin or casket.
Also, should you wish to have a memorial service after the funeral, our Eastleigh funeral directors can help you plan this too. Our goal is to offer a personalised service that honours the memory of the deceased and fits with your available budget. While not necessary, a memorial service is an excellent way for those closest to the deceased to gather and share fond memories with each other and reflect on a life lived.
After reading through the above, if you have anything you’d like to discuss with one of our funeral directors, Eastleigh residents need only call J Lawrence & Sons on 023 8055 4801.
